After receiving their degrees, 46% of physics bachelors either accepted employment, continued in positions they held while an undergraduate, or were seeking employment. This publication examines the post-degree employment of new physics bachelors during the winter following the academic year in which they received their degrees. This report includes data on starting salaries, employment sectors, fields of employment, and skills used by employed physics bachelors. It also examines job satisfaction concerning different aspects of employment. The data in this report come from AIP’s follow-up survey of physics bachelor’s in the classes of 2013 and 2014.
