AIP Accepting Meggers Project Award Proposals April 1 – June 15, 2025

AIP is accepting proposals for the William F. and Edith R. Meggers Project Award April 1 – June 15, 2025. The award provides up to $25,000 biennially for one more outstanding projects aimed at increasing interest in physics and improving the quality of high school physics instruction.

Educators, groups, and individuals are encouraged to apply, especially those with proposals that include undergraduate student support and incorporate student and/or high school groups

The William F. and Edith R. Meggers Project Award of the American Institute of Physics is a biennial award designed to fund projects for the improvement of high school physics teaching in the United States. The award was made possible by an endowment created by the gift of a stamp and coin collection from William F. and Edith R. Meggers to AIP.
