Liaison Committee on Underrepresented Minorities

In this non-governing volunteer committee, representatives from Member Societies discuss efforts to increase the participation of women and underrepresented minorities in the physical sciences and in society activities. Representatives from the National Society of Black Physicists and National Society of Hispanic Physicists also serve on this committee.

The committee consists of 10-14 members. Each Member Society appoints at least one member, and guests are often welcome. Members serve renewable three-year terms (suggested) that expire on December 31.
