Using Blue Light To Kill A Superbug Bacteria

(Inside Science) -- A treatment using blue light to eradicate MRSA, the deadly superbug, is currently being tested. Researchers have found that exposing the bacteria to blue light can render it defenseless against antiseptics as mild as hydrogen peroxide.
