Angela R. Keyser

Angela R. Keyser is the Executive Director of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), a scientific, educational, and professional organization of more than 8,200+ medical physicists worldwide. Ms. Keyser joined the AAPM team in 1993, when the organization moved into its current home at the American Center for Physics in College Park, MD. She served as AAPM’s Director of Meetings and Programs and Deputy Executive Director until she was named Executive Director in 2004.

Prior to joining AAPM, Ms. Keyser served as the Director of Meetings for the National Society of Professional Engineers from 1992 – 1993. From 1989 – 1992 she worked for the American Waterways Operators both in their Legislative and Regulatory Affairs office and as Assistant Vice President, Membership and Events Planning.

Ms. Keyser holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park. Ms. Keyser is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives.
