Allison Buser

About
Allison Buser is an Archivist at the Niels Bohr Library & Archives, specializing in digital collections work. She holds a Master of Arts in History as well as a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she worked with both physical and digital archives and studied the public’s relationship with science in the nineteenth-century United States. She also holds a B.A. in History from the University of Iowa with a minor in Business Administration and certification in Museum Studies. Before joining AIP, she worked with collections at a wide-range of academic and cultural heritage institutions, such as the Library of Congress, University of Maryland Libraries, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum, and the Omaha Public Library. Through her work she hopes to advance collections access and digital preservation to better facilitate research into the history of the physical sciences, particularly into topics relating to gender and institution building.
