FY 2010 NIBIB Appropriation

The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2010, H.R. 3288, contains funding for the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering. The report accompanying this bill did not include any language regarding NIBIB’s programs.

The final appropriation for NIBIB is as follows:

FY 2009 appropriation: $308.2 million (does not include stimulus funding)
FY 2010 request: $312.7 million, an increase of $4.5 million or 1.5 percent
FY 2010 appropriation: $316.6 million, an increase of $8.4 million or 2.7 percent
