Women Physicists Speak
This report covers issues related to both education and employment of women in physics. Women physicists describe their educational experiences and critical incidents from secondary school through the highest degree they earned. They also provide a self-assessment of how well their careers progressed and the impact of marriage and children on the success they have achieved to date. The findings are based on responses of over 1,000 women physicists from 55 countries. The study was conducted in connection with the First IUPAP International Conferences on Women in Physics.
