Background
Alice Alpert received a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology-Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Joint Program in Oceanography in 2016, where she studied climate variability using environmental archives of past ocean temperatures. During her graduate studies Alice took a leadership role in developing opportunities for students to improve science communication skills in a range of media. Her policy interests include climate change and water, energy, and food security.
